Request Hospital Records (newborn adoptions)

Some hospital birth records were kept in two parts: the first part covered the birth and includes birth parent information; the second covered the nursery portion and costs were normally paid by the adopting parents or their insurance carrier. You may be able to access one or both parts of the record.
