About the Author
Jan Baker is a reunited birth mother whose reunion led her to become a strong advocate for adoption reform and search and reunion. She is the national secretary for Concerned United Birthparents (CUB), and a member of the American Adoption Congress (AAC). Her love for children has led her to many volunteer positions working with children. She currently blogs for adoptionblogs.com on birth families and search and reunion.
Her favorite pursuits include writing, hiking, photography, traveling and reading. Her three grandchildren live nearby and she enjoys frequent visits with them. Living in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains with her husband, life is full and rich for her.
She enjoys a warm relationship with Chris, the son with whom she is reunited, and two other adult children she raised.
